Oasis of the Seas - Flowrider - Wipe Out
A quick video I made for myself of some of our experiences on the Flowriders on the cruise ship the Oasis of the Seas, January 16 - 23, 2010. I may work on the video a bit more, but it is close enough being finished to put out there for now. I had hoped to get this finished a bit sooner. Now that it is mostly done, I can start work on videos for the rest of the trip. The Oasis of the Seas is the BEST cruise ship I have ever been on. There is so much to do on the ship that even if you are not interested in any of it's ports of call (maybe you've already been to them a time or two) it is still worth going on. There is just that much to do on the ship. However, don't let the size of it scare you away if you haven't been partial to big cruise ships in the past. Because there are so many things to do aboard the Oasis of the Seas, people are spread out and you never really feel like you are on a ship with 5000 other passengers. The only times you feel like you are on a BIG ship are when you on the first time, and when you are in port next to other cruise ships. Royal Caribbean has done a marvelous job figuring out how to get so many passengers on and off the ship when in port. The problems experienced on the Freedom class ships is gone. Tour groups gather off the ship on the pier. No longer do you have to meet up in the auditorium, listen for your groups number to be called, and then shuffle to the gangway with a hundred other passengers. You also don't need to know what deck ...
